Welcome to Anderson Design.  Since 1978, we have provided our Minnesota clients with inspired landscape planning and design work, coordinated job pricing, and follow-up planting and custom construction services.  Our goals have always been to create striking, environmentally appropriate, outdoor settings for our clients, based on their needs, lifestyles, and requirements.

 

Our design style is one of "naturalism" in landscape character.  Landscapes that use bold, simple, masses; four-seasons of texture and interest; a strong relationship to your building's architectural style; outdoor living spaces like decks, patios, pools and porch settings that tie directly into your lifestyles.  Overall, we use a soft landscape style with a Midwestern context. This "naturalism" includes a down-sizing of lawn areas and hard-surface construction areas.  It integrates permanent landscape plantings, perennial plantings, ornamental grasses, and groundcovers.  We believe this is not only an ecologically sound, sensitive approach to good landscaping, but a glimpse of the changing future in our American yard settings as well.
